Frequently Asked Questions

We hope that we have made things nice and simple, but you be unsure on something. We have collated the following frequently asked questions to help. If you cannot find the answer, please get in contact.

General Frequently Asked Questions

We have done a lot of research into which platforms are accessible in schools around the country. We get that schools need to be secure, and this can mean that lots of things get blocked which are out of our control.

Vimeo

We have chosen to use Vimeo’s streaming platform to deliver our conference live on the day and to supply the videos after the event. Vimeo is a trustworthy platform providing a wide range of content which is used as a valuable resource within schools and is generally not blocked.  Videos are embedded on this site and these are streamed from Vimeo.

If you can’t access Vimeo, then you need to contact your network team and ask if they can allow Vimeo in your school. You can test whether it is blocked by going to our channel and trying to play a video here.

No. Videos need to be watched via this website. They will always be available, there is no time limit.

Purchasing a conference or a course covers the school and the staff within the school. All we ask is that you don’t share your login details with people outside of your school. The only way we can deliver our conference at the price we do is by getting as many people as we can to come to it. Sharing login details jeopardises the future of the conferences and our training courses.

Instead, let people know what fantastic value our content is.

We’ve all been there. Watch a great session, get lots of questions answered. You learn loads, but even so, you still have more questions. So what can you do?

Well, each speaker provides their contact details during the session (unless they expressly request that they don’t).  You always have the chance to follow up with the speaker directly after the event.

Our speakers are from a range of settings and businesses. It is worth remembering that a speaker may be from a school. They are there to share good practice (Rochford Review Recommendation 7). So they may be less able to respond as they already have full workloads. You may need to be a little patient for a response.
